Hi, I have a problem with my i5-7400, because always the PC boot or do anything the CPU temperature gets to 40°C and in game like 60°C with a Kraken X42. My problem stars yesterday, my PC crash with no reason, reset all normal but went I go check the temperatures I see this and if I put some program like antiviruz or chrome the temperature gets to 72°C, Someone can help me?

"Manually Initiated Crash"and when I start a game the CPU temperature reaches like 92° and I see the CAM again and the Clock Speed goes to 798MHz to 3000Mhz, is just a moment but I don´t know if thats normal.

I agree with SkyNetRising; it may be another pump failure. It could also be some software that triggers the crash; the CPU should not even throttle at 92°C. If it was my system I'd remove any monitoring software that was installed and use Intel XTU (enable all monitors) to check CPU and core temps as well as throttling.

Does it crash if you run Prime95 26.6 Small FFTs? How hot does it get? It should stay way below 80°C on that relatively easy test.

Does it crash if you run the latest version of Prime95 Small FFTs? It will get much hotter than it did with version 26.6; if it reaches 100°C then stop it as it would be useless to continue. However it shouldn't crash.
