Hi there,
SSD firmware will know once a block/sector failed and will not write to any block/sector anymore so our data are good. but Will SSD firmware not recognize any bad blocks which are caused by shocking?

I travel a lot and I use external HDD/SSD and Mac Pro's internal SSD.
Sometimes my bag of my Mac Pro/Macbook Pro/extenral SSD got dropped from a desk and his the floor, this could happen when I travel. I also had one external raid SSD hit the floor while running/coping files because someone is not careful.
Normally people would suggest trash that HDD and get a new one for safety, HDD are cheap, so not a problem easy, done.

How about SSD especially the SSD inside Mac Pro? Can I trust them and continue to use them for all my important files including Art Works which I spent time and energy with my heart creating? external SSD are not cheap for me, the internal SSD of Mac Pro are expensive, I can't just buy a new one.

Your thoughts?

meaning, after shocking, the SSD will be either still working, writing data is as good as before, then we can continue trust it and use it or it'll be totally dead, correct?
