Guys, what the hack!!!!!!!!! Sry for my non pefect english.

SO! These days i was thinking to build an intel pc and i am stuck with some toughts.
7th generation is arleady dead becouse of coffe lake socket 1151 v2. So i was a little angry on intel when i saw this..it not past even a year from 7th gen and intel force us to buy another mbo for 8th generation. And now i just read intel will relase another 2 generations of cpu in 2018.
What the <removed>. right now i am stuck with my 5th generation becouse i don't know what cpu to buy!!! Intel is crossing the line, thei treet us like animals. How i supouse to update my cpu if i don't even what mbo socket will be for future upgrates since thei change the socket every half year?
What can we do in this case? what should i do?

One year later in the PC world is a long time ... each year we also have a new mobile phone , this does not mean we will need the new phone.

If you spend on a PC today it will be enough for you for at least 3 years to come , not only one year.

and even if it is 20% faster , if you have lets say a PC that plays games at 100fps , 120 fps will make no difference.

and you are missing the GPU market as well ...

when you need something buy it. If you can wait (more than 3 months IMO) , this means you dont need it that much.

so whenever you want something think only 3 months ahead in the future wait. if you can wait more then what you have is enough for you.

you dont need to have the best of the best all the time , you need to have what is enough for your use. keep this golden rule in your mind allways when you want to buy anything.

I wanted to wait coffe lake.But is ussles, i mean..what is the point spending 500-600 euro on mbo+cpu and one year later having a new generation cpu 20% faster but need another 150-200 euro for a new mbo? This is bad for marketing, this is bad for Intel...i almost thinking going on AMD..i just don't know..is so frustrating!!

and you are missing the GPU market as well , every year you will find a new faster GPU ... so it will not end.

Golden rule : be happy with what you have , and dont ask for the best , ask for what is enough for your needs.

or you will live all your life sad ... not only when looking at PCs ..

IMO think only 3 months in th future , if no new tech is coming in 3 months , buy what is best in the market today.

and I assume you are still a student and not working yet ,,, 500 euros is nothing when you start to work and earn . all your way if thinking will change after you earn your first Salary
