Hi.
I wonder if my PSU is broken. But the motherboard lights upp when i plug it in, så something must be working. Is this possible on a broken PSU? The PC however does not start (CPU fan not spinning and no POST).
I know the PC is working since it works with another PSU

thanks

That's really unfortunate.
If the PSU just doesn't work in any system, then it looks like it has failed.

See if you can get it sent back and use your warranty to get a replacement... That's what I would recommend.

Hey,
The PSU you have still has the 5VSB rail working (the one that is always on), but it would appear that the PSU is faulty, especially if another PSU runs the computer perfectly.

I would assume your PSU has failed and you need a new one.
From my experience, some older power supplies do die and no longer power up except for the 5VSB rail, so that is not surprising to me.

Sorry for the bad news, I hope it wasn't a new PSU!
