Hi i am looking for a bit of advice, i have a gigabyte GA-Z87N-WIFI that has decided to give up on me so i have been looking online for a replacement but obviously its quite old now but i have found a gigabyte H87-WIFI motherboard, my question is would this be a suitable replacement as i don't really want to reinstall all my software again?
Many thanks in advance.

Which CPU are you using?

The Z motherboards allow you to overclock your CPU.

the H wont allow it.

so if you have a -K Cpu , it will work on H motherboard but you will never be able to oc it.

as for your Question about the OS , as said above , it may or may not work

Get a Z97 Motherboard . there are many good options .. dont go for older Z87 chipset.

Z97 will also accept your CPU ..

How much are you planing to pay ?

It is really hard to find Z97 and Z87 mini-itx motherboards in UK today , but I managed to find this one in Germany and they send to all Europe for 8 euros post

http://www.orimo.eu/de/asrock-z97e-itx-ac-mainboard-mini-itx-z97e-itx-ac.html

This is with 20% taxes included .. when you order from UK , they will take out the VAT taxes.

How good is the Glass door ? is it weak ? I want to buy the 303c (with the USB-c port) but they say the glass is only 3mm thick. (compared to 4 and 5 mm from thermaltake cases)

Actually inwin is the only one making budget cases with USB-C today ...
