I'm using a router from verizon and I've read about it that it doesn't give good wifi connections. I already tested that there is malfunctions with the router so that it only gives download speed up to 15 mbs and upload 10 mbs. However, if I connect using WLAN cable, it gives me upto 100 mbs for upload and download. I'm planning to get a router for the WiFi connection, but I don't know what brand and what type that I need. There are approximately 20 to 25 devices that connect to the router. Any suggestions? I'm just looking for a cheap router, no need for a high-end brands. Just looking for the stable connection with that amount of devices.

Thank you

That is the standard FIOS router. I have a similar router. What I would recommend you do is to not purchase a router. But purchase one or more WIFI access points. Let the FIOS router continue to be the primary router. Just turn off WIFI on it. Then with an ethernet cable connect one or more WIFI access points to distribute WIFI. This is the configuration I use. I have a WIFI access point in the living room and one in the garage.

20 to 25 devices are using the WiFI connection. We had another router and it worked fine, but for some reason we decided to use the verizon router. So, now I'm planning to get a new router to replace the router from verizon.
