Which gpu is better for my system?

i currently have an i5 4460 paired up with the gt 640, i am contemplating whether to get a gtx 970 or a 1050 ti.
will those gpu have bottlenecking issues or will it be perfect with my system.

I dont think a 970 would bottleneck an i5 4460, i5's and the 970 pair pretty well together. Also if you doing this for gaming gpu's almost never are the reason to bottleneck between a cpu. Unless of course you have your current setup

Just make sure your PSU is powerful enough to use the gpu
