Hey guys,
So after 4 years I deceid to replace my old samsung notebook with something more "beastly".I currently have my eyes on the ASUS ROG 702,
with a gtx1070 with Gsync,
16g of RAM,
120 Hz monitor
and a i7 7700HQ for around 1900 $.
I (correct me if I'm a bit too optimistic) expect my laptop to support most games on high settings for at least 2 years and on moderate for 3 years. But then I heard about the release of the new 8th generation processors that are expected to be much more powerful then current generation. So, my question is, should I wait for a laptop with the new i7 or just go with the current one?
PS:
I just found an interesting deal for the ASUS ROG 702 which has a AMD Ryzen 7 1700 and AMD Radeon RX580 4GB GDDR5, FreeSync. It is 200$ cheeaper but not sure if the GPU is good enough for what I need.
