Hey everyone!

So I have been wondering for sometime now if I should invest in a pair of wireless earphones. With phones killing off the headphone jack, it seems the tech side is moving in that direction.

I have the opportunity to buy the Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear Bluetooth. Should I go ahead and purchase or stick to wired ones.

Main concerns:
- Durability
- Comfort for long listening hours
Thanks in advance for the help. Looking forward to hearing your opinions.

If you already have some decent headphones, I wouldn't bother until you actually have some need for them. Currently, many wireless headphones tend to encounter connectivity or sound quality issues. That might not apply to those particular ones, but in general I think we'll see wireless headphones continue to improve over the next few years, with things like weight going down, battery capacity and durability increasing, and prices hitting lower levels. And while headphone jacks have been standard for decades, there's no telling how long it will be before the current wireless headphone standards are considered obsolete and replaced with something new.

And just because a handful of high-end phones are cutting out headphone jacks for...

And just because a handful of high-end phones are cutting out headphone jacks for arguably questionable reasons doesn't necessarily mean that will become the norm for other devices any time soon. Many people already own good wired headphones, and it costs practically nothing to add a headphone jack to a device. It does seem like wireless headphones might eventually replace wired ones, but I don't think we're there quite yet.

Bluetooth cannot carry CD quality sound, so if you care a lot about music then stay with wired.

For most things Bluetooth is more convenient than wired headsets. I have several of both. I use the wired headsets except when I'm hiking or doing the dishes. YMMV.
