I have a computer that's making a scraping noise, and I'm almost positive that it's the hard drive. It's not like a clicking noise or anything, it kind of sounds like a fan scraping against a heatsink. The noise happens every 3-10 seconds, and can last up to 5 seconds.
Here are my specs:
Core i5-6500
Gigabyte h110m-a
EVGA 500w bronze psu
Gigabyte GTX 1060
WD blue 1tb hard drive
8gb corsair vengeance lpx ddr4 2133mhz

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
With HDD's this can be normal and if the health is fine , nothing to worry about. Just make sure it doesn't get real loud and keep checking the health status once in awhile. Most HDD's do make a little noise , because they have moving parts.

Not very loud. I'd say it's just loud enough to hear in a quiet room with nothing else but the fans and my keyboard.
