Running out of space on my SSD system disk.

Hi all, I have an oldish Dell Vostro desktop and have a storage problem. I have a Kingston 120 gig SSD on the C drive for system, programs and docs (including my hard copy of my cloud storage) and also 2 x 1000 gig HDD, 1 for photos, video and music and the other for backups. I also have a DVD. I keep finding I am running out of space on the C drive. What is the cheapest way to get more SSD storage without losing a HDD or my DVD. I don't like the idea of replacing my 120 gig SSD with say a 250 0r 500 gig SSD and scraping 120 gig of fast access storage. I only have 4 ports on my disk controller. I understand I could purchase a SATA port multiplier card and another 120 gig SSD but that is no cheaper than scraping the 120 gig SSD. Anyone have any suggestions?

Solution
external usb hard drive. good for storage of stuff.

if mother supports it, an external sata hard drive, with external hard drive case.

pay the few extra bucks for a external hard drive case that has a fan in it. (to me fan is required not optional)

==========
get a 1T SSD. pay up for it, and put in as C drive and move on.

the hybrid hard drives, part SSD part HDD, might be something.

More and more, people are seeing that the 120GB SSD's are Too Small.

You have 4 ports. Currently consumed with:
SSD
HDD
HDD
DVD

Either add a PCI_E card for more SATA ports,
Or a larger single HDD to remove one of the 1TB to add another SSD
Or a larger SSD
Or move one of the 1TB HDD to an external enclosure, and add another SSD

There is no magic bullet.
