I don't play many games, but I'm starting to get into PUBG (Player Unknown Battleground). My current build is a few years old, and I have to run the game on low to medium settings to perform okay. I haven't been keeping up with hardware much the past few years, so I'm hoping you guys have some suggestions.

Current Build (outdated):

PUBG is somewhat equally bound for cpu and gpu, perhaps a bit on the cpu side. You have not mentioned a budget, but something like this should be able to run that game pretty good on 1080p/60hz...

First off, you should be able to set your game settings higher with that spec. Here's an example with a mix of mostly Med using High textures and Low shadows. So it could be something other than your hardware. Have you scanned for malware, defragged HDDs, and shut down all background progs while playing?

Hellfire, I will take a look at this build. I usually do end up keeping my previous builds complete, and will end up buying a new SSD, HDD & PSU. Thank you.

Frag, my games/Steam are stored on an SSD. I will take a look at those settings and try them out. Thanks for showing me.
