Hi I built my computer about 6 months ago and it's been working perfectly fine since I built it, but I woke up today and turned it on and all of a sudden all the fans were going super hard (Checked and they were at 100%) so I was confused but I checked my cpu temp and it was at 98-100, even though i was at almost no load. I thought it could be dust but I've cleaned out all the dust I can see, can't think of what else could be the problem, any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I have a i7 7700k with a kraken x52 if that helps. Idk if it's something with my CPU, thermal paste, fans or what but yea

Yep dead pump, I would send it in for warranty bad thing is your PC is down till you get a new one back. This is the main reason I recomend air cooling their nothing to fail but the fan and in a pinch you can use a case fan and keep going.
Thermal paste doesn't disappear overnight. : P

Most likely, either the cooler somehow came loose from the motherboard, or its pump failed. You should be able to feel a vibration from the cooler's pump if it's running, otherwise you may need to send it in for replacement. Failing pumps seem to be a common occurrence on all-in-one coolers like that.

Thanks for the input guys, I was originally thinking thermal paste but then I saw temps drop from 99 to 70-80 and then all of a sudden it was back to normal (30-40)
but then 10 mins later it was back to 99 which makes me think it's not thermal paste for sure, so I was checking if the pump was vibrating etc, no vibrating as well as what I never noticed before was pump RPM was at 0, probably a dumb question but I assume this means it's 100% the pump failed right? Thanks in advance

If the pump rpm is 0 then the pump is dead.
