Hello everyone, I'm quite a newbie when it comes to PC hardware and I'm trying to get a decent computer that could run some games (Nier / Fallout) in medium to high quality.

I'd really prefer to buy the whole setup with warranty but the offers I find in my country (Chile) don't seem too appealing, I've found one thought that's missing a dedicated card but comparing to other offers it seems if I bought just the card (and more ram) it would actually be a better deal but I wanna know if it's worthy (if I could upgrade it in the future).

The offer: (https://www.pcfactory.cl/producto/25756-Imbatible)
+ Motherboard: Asus Intel® H110M-R A/L/V (1151)
+ i5-7400
+ 4 GB DDR4 2133 MHz
For about US$470

For the graphic card I was considering a "EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX1050Ti 4GB GAMING ACX 2.0" or something on that price range.

Thanks a lot!

Also yes the computer does seem to be a pretty good price, you probably couldn't build it your self for that price, alot of people seem to forget that a copy of windows alone is around $200 so its a great starter pc and should run most games very well once you install more ram and a gpu.
You would have to update the BIOS first to support the I5-7400, which is a Kaby Lake.

But you'll have to buy or borrow a Skylake CPU to update the BIOS first.

But if you want that mobo and CPU, I would ask whoever youre buying it from if they could update the BIOS before they send the mobo and the CPU

Otherwise it wont turn on when you receive it

That desktop link you posted, doesnt need a separate videocard, it does have DVI, VGA and HDMI. And the CPU supports
integrated graphics

Hello, thanks for the reply. The PC comes assembled from the store so I suppose it's updated if it comes with that processor. Basically they sell PC's and I thought I could buy this and add a graphic card since it only comes with the integrated one.

Unless Im not understanding properly the pc is a prebuilt so he shouldn't need to swap cpus to update the bios, the bios should already be updated and ready to go. As for gaming you will certainly need a graphics card to play nier or fallout on med to high settings. Bang for the buck you really cant go wrong with the 1050 ti i would also recommend getting another stick of ram to put in the system. Also the power supply does look like it will be enough to run a graphics card like the 1050 ti just make sure that if you don't have a 6 pin pcie power cable on your power supply you buy a 1050 ti that only draws power straight from the board.

Thanks, I'll keep in mind that last bit. Indeed it's a prebuilt setup, they (the company selling it) also sell parts and build PCs so I can ask them to recommend me a card on the price range that fits. I just want to know if the components that it has are decent for the price (so far haven't seen anything better that's prebuilt), I've seen for the same price, computers that come with the G4560.
