Choice between Noctuas NH-L9i and L9x65. (or other suggestions at max 65mm hight)
Not so worried about heat, it's more about noise. I guess the bigger x65 got the best cooling/noise performance as is. But this cooler will be at only 1 mm clearance to the cabinet top/venting holes.
Would that create turbulence noise? if so, maybe the smaller L9i would be more silent even if it spins at 100-200 more rpm than the bigger one?

CPU: Intel Core-i3 6100
Cabinet: LianLi PC C37B

I also got a passive cooled GeForce 1030 on board that creates heat in the cabinet. There is one 70 mm silent fan on both sides of the cabinet.
The only fan I hear now (stock) is the cpu when watching 4k movies.

Yes,
L9i would probably do fine. but I think I could fit the L12 in this case with pulling off the upper fan. (more airflow if I will upgrade cpu later)
This cooler will also blow upwards, through the venting holes at the top, where the others would pull from top and blow downwards.

Anyone knows the best air flow with this cabinet? It doesn't have any dust filters.
