I have the MSI 990FXA MOTHERBOARD my VRM's Hitting about 50 To 90c and some times 70c and I have no idea why that is could some please help so i can make it cooler

Solution
Any temperature below 110 is safe for VRM, throttling will happen when VRM hits 100+.

A waterblock cooling would solve the issue, but I wouldn't spend some hundred bucks to hit 70 instead of 90, wich, again, is perfectly safe.

You can try removing the radiator from VRM, dusting off everything and changing the termal silicon. I can't imagine anything but cleaning and giving some fresh air for VRM radiator as panacea.

Nightowl i have done that as well but something with corsair link that tells me the VRM's are high. but and with the MSI 990fxa motherboard but i 'll do my best and see what i can do to get this to stop i might take off the thermal pad as well and replace it also
