How do i connect wireless access point to a switch

Hi guys,
I have a Lan office network no internet needed now i need to connect the wireless access point to the switch can anyone give me the steps please? Thanks

Maybe. But, doing a direct connect will ensure that your network is protected from things like a duplicate IP address or multiple DHCP servers or other networking gremlins. Configuring a device in an isolated setting is the safe method.

What I described is what I would do.

can't i just connect it to the switch directly?
