Which is the best PSU out of these?

1: FSP Hyper S 500W (PPA5005801)

2: EVGA 500B 500W Bronze (100-B1-0500)

3: Corsair VS550 550W (CP-9020050)

4: Cooler Master B500 ver.2 500W (RS500-ACABB1)

I know that these are low-end PSUs, but that is okay for me.

So, which one you think is the best in quality and performance out of these?

Look for a Seasonic M12II or S12II.

They are great PSU's and can be found at really good prices now.

Much better than anything you listed and should be around the same price range.

I need them to replace a 6 year old FSP PSU.
It is a 3-year old budget build with an AMD A8 7600, 2x4GB Kingston HyperX Fury 1866MHz (DDR3) RAM, ASUS A88X-PLUS MOBO and a Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1050 which I bought half a year ago.
So, as you can see it's not a really good PC, but for me it is perfecctly fine and I just need a replacement PSU.

Sure they are, one of the best on the market when the models came out, hardly mediocre in any way.

And his system fits right into what he would need for the age.

And they are better than any of the ones he listed, he was looking for a price range.

They fit into that range now, but are better than the others in that range.

So it's a win for him.

On a side note, I just retired my M12II 620W that was over 7 YO and still worked great. I figured I was on borrowed time so I replaced it.

It ran 24/7/365 for over 7 years, 1st 3 years tasked 24/7/365 running F&H GPU. Rock solid unit.

Will keep it as a backup or test unit.

Would I recommend one for a modern machine running the latest hardware?

No, I wouldn't.

I wouldn't recommend anything from Corsair below the TXM, EVGA G2 or G-Series from Seasonic. Definitely wouldn't spend my own money on anything less today.
