I have a Biostar ta970 version 5.2 and the case I got was from my mom's friend that gave me a really old case (I seriously cant find the model/name or anything of it) and it didn't come with the front panel audio or usb cables. Biostar's manual says AC'97 audio isn't acceptable so now i'm wondering, What do I buy for the front panel audio/usb ports to connect to my motherboard?

Solution
Plug it up anyway. It should be fine. I've never seen a motherboard in the last two decades that has on-board audio that lacks support for AC'97. The physical motherboard connection is identical and should work fine, but may be slightly lower-quality.
