OK so here's my dilemma. I have around £300 to spend on a budget gaming PC. My budget can be low because I can harvest parts from other PCs and re use them. However, that includes my crappy 1280x1024 5:6 LCD Monitor. Now, for overall gaming experience and balance of performance. I have two choices. Get a cheap 16:9 monitor (900p) or stick with my monitor and get better hardware. FYI. With monitor = i5 3470s and GTX 670 8GB Ram Without = i5 3470 GTX 680 8GB Ram. Just note I may stream on this and also use it for starting a YouTube channel. Also planning to upgrade to double the ram, i7 and possibly an even better gpu when I can afford it. All help is appreciated!!

Thanks vapour. Is there anyway I can improve my experience with my monitor. I'd really like wide-screen. Also. Do you know anywhere I can get a monitor for cheap but not off eBay??
