Overclocking cpu with out XMP?

I’m trying to overclock my cpu but cant turn on xmp. It says the memory is at 1866 in the bios which is what the memory is rated at. Also says 1866 in Cpuz . Am I okay getting top permormance to overclock cpu from memory

XMP, (eXtreme Memory Profile). depending on MB and CPU, it could be that it's already set right. Maybe you could OC it a bit but it will probably be visible to benchmark only.
