2. IS it enough future proof for next several years?
3. major problem is PC reboots when i select shutdown from power menu and i have tried several solutions posted online for this kind of problem but it keeps happening and cant fix it.
4. everything is new parts, nothing used.

any help appreciated.

Solution
security on the pc..something that added for work pc. mei drivers will not work right if the mei bios rev is old or wrong on your mb.

Well 1+2 =yes for sure.:) Well saying that i guess that you play at 1080p and the gpu will be the first to show age,but good performance parts.
Then 4,very nice system.:D

Coming to 3,which i only can say to look at the windows settings under energy settings for waht the on/off buttons do (you probably checked already looking at what you said). Otherwise since very new maybe reinstall.
You could check the bios on setings as well,i haven't downloaded the manual so take a look for yourself first.Maybe there's an option as well.

thank you both for your responses, I checked everything and the following, windows settings checked, bios settings, cleared cmos and updated, checked usb suspend services. Disabled mouse and keyboard waking up pc, winlogon autoreboot setting changed in regedit, network adapter settings power management changed, reseated usb pciex1 card in slot as well the gpu and cpu, made sure all cables are correct and also made sure there is no contact between mb and pc case, psu new and checked it as well, checked the usb hdd, but nothing solves the problem. Its peculiar though, when I initiate shutdown it does it normally and screen goes out but case is still lit and fans still running for about 8 to 10 seconds after monitor goes out and then everything shuts down completely and after about 3 to 4 seconds it will reboot automatically. Unable to figure out what the issue is.

OMFG i cannot f****** believe this, my problem was caused by Intel management engine driver and i turned off its ability to wake my computer and it no longer reboots, anyway what is the purpose of this anyways?
