It's been awhile since I purchased any CPU. After some research I ended up taking the Ryzen due to it's upgrade on an i5-3750k and an opportunity to upgrade to a mobo with DDR4 Ram access. Maybe one with an onboard soundcard and the ability to wirelessly connect to the internet unlike my current mobo.
