Hello Community,

As you can tell by the title of this post I am having some trouble with my graphics card.

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming laptop.
Recently my monitor had stopped working in 1920x1080 which it usually always did, so I thought it was a problem with my graphics driver for the Gtx 1050, so I uninstalled the driver and installed it back on which didn't help the whole low resolution problem.

I ended up fixing the low resolution problem which had nothing to do with the graphics driver, and now that I want to go back to playing games, I can't!

I have tried reinstalling the GTX 1050 driver multiple times, Updated it multiple times and nothing works! The Driver appears in the Device Manager but when I go to "Display Settings" the driver that is being used is literally the Microsoft Basic Display Driver, I cannot use my laptop for what I bought it for and nothing I found online helped me fix this problem.

I also cannot open the Nvidia Control Panel, I get an error that says "You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU"

I can open up Nvidia Experience, all the games are there, but im still running the Microsoft Basic Display Driver!

Any help would be appreciated ,

Thank you!

It cannot possibly be broken, All I did was reinstall the driver.
My laptop never leaves my room and is always in one place so I couldn't of dropped it or anything either.
