Thank you. I saw some comments on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/Kraken-Matte-Cooling-Black-RL-KRG12-B1/dp/B06ZYHRMYP) that the bracket does not fit with some non-reference design cards. So can anyone please help to confirm if it works with the MSI GTX 1080 Gaming card (non X version)? Thanks.

One more question if you don't mind. Do you know where can I buy the thermal pad/sticks for the VRM - or I can reuse the old ones from the previous case?

MSI gaming series cards should have heatsinks of its own for vrm and vram, you should not touch them, leave them as they are. It should look like this.

Looking at the original fan, I can see there're 2 heat-pipes in the left (marked as yellow) and 5 in the right (mark as red). However, G12 bracket only have 1 fan for cooling down the right side part - but how about the left side? Should I worry about them?

No, those heatpipes does not touch anything, and think for a minute there, the msi fans pushes hot air into the card because in those heatpipes there is heat but on the kraken the heat is transfered by the pump and the fan pushes only cold air into the card vrm and vram. i had this configuration for 1 year on my msi gtx 1080 gaming x and for more then 3 years on my r9 290x crossfire configuration.
