I'm planning to upgrade my PC Build. I do not know how to OC or have the time to do so. So non-oc components or pre-oc would be good enough for me + a basic mobo (never did use any of the extra features stated in the current mobo). I play TOTAL WAR games a lot and only single players titles like Mass Effect 3 & Fallout 4 (no Battlefield, COD etc games). I also use engineering softwares in the new PC build, the old PC build is somehwhat-okay but hey, faster will be better for me (i do hope its noticeable). Thats just about it other than casual internet surfing. Would like the build to last at least 3-4 years in the future.
My current PC Build:
Asus GTX 780
Intel i7 4770K
Asus Maximus V Formula
OCZ Fatal1ty 750W
Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 (8GB)
Samsung 850 Evo SSD (1TB)
Plan to upgrade to:
MSI GTX 1080Ti Duke
Intel i7 8700K
MSI Gaming-Plus Z370
Hyper X Fury DDR4 2666 (16GB)
Samsung 960 Pro Nvme (1TB)
*I think the PSU doesn't need upgrading
I have this feeling that some components are overkill and prob some i do not need to change like the 850 EVO SSD. I mean if i can cut the cost it would be great. Anyway would like all of your thoughts. Thanks!
