My old psu broke an I need new. My old was lc power lc420h-12 420w an I'm thinking to get seasonic s12ii 620w. My MB is asrock h61m-vs.

I checked dimentions and pins. Apart from that I have no idea what to look for. Can there be incompatibility issues? I don't think I care about specific power saving modes working or not, I just need my pc to run lol.

If anything can you please tel me what to look for when seeing if they are compatible? I don't wanna spend time and money by buying 100€ psu and then once I plug it in finding it wont tun cos not compatible.

Please help with advice, thanks.

If your previous PSU is 420 W and your PC works fine then you can go for the 420 W one. If you are upgrading your PC by adding High Power consuming GPU then you may require 620 W PSU according to your GPU requirement.
420 W PSU will save your money and works fine with your existing mobo.

Count the number of pins on the mobo connector:

if its 20 or 24 then any standard power supply will work with it

as you can see its standard 24-pin mobo

I am using gtx 750ti now and doing some light gaming. As far as I know 420w was enough for it. But I would like to have some extra space available in case I do decide to upgrade eventually. But main reason why I picked that 620w supply was cos its supposedly good. I Googled the number of my old 420w one and its supposedly unreliable garbage? So I am hesitant to get exact copy again. I don't really know what other good psu are there.

Thanks for the pin tip. Is that all that matters for it to work? And does s12ii is to be considered a standart psu? How many pins it has?
