No it's not that board has the Z370 chipset for Coffee Lake which is not backward compatible with Skylake and Kaby lake CPUs.

That is you can’t stick a Kaby Lake or Skylake CPU in a Z370 motherboard, and you can’t use a Coffee Lake processor with a Z170 or Z270 motherboard.

I have some interesting results. I have this motherboard and it WORKS with a i5 6600. With all that is said about how the 370's are only the 8000 series CPU's this works. I ran it for weeks and no issues with windows 10. Can someone explain this??
