Looking to get more air to my cpu and gpu in a really compact case/chassis

Is there any good way to get some more air to my cpu and gpu in a compact case/chassis? I was thinking maybe some of those small 40mmx40mm server fans to go where the io shield is supposed to go because I'm missing my io shield and it seems they would fit there ?. Any other ideas?

i had a small silverstone case that i actually machined two openings into the case sides to add two fans (one 80mm and one 60mm).
As Snipergod87 indicated, they were loud, and 2nd they didn't seem to help temps as much as i hoped. Ended up moving the components into a mATX Aerocool case. Issue solved

I didn't think about them being loud, that is a good point. maybe Ill think of some other method.
