Graphics card please help

Hi i recently noticed that i needed to change my graphics card beacuse of all the new games that are comming out like Cod game so i decided to ask my friend if i could buy one of his old grapichs card and i got a fresh graphics card it was a 660ti 3gb and it was new he never touched it so i went to plug it into my pc and i checked that my computer was compatible with my computer but when it was plugged in it only shows me my logo of the brand that i bought the pc from and the nothing happends

Your PSU is on the limit of the requirements for the GPU, especially if it's a low tier one.
Also it may depend on your legacy settings in BIOS. If you have an old Windows installation and MBR Windows partition and the 660ti requires GPT you might need to change partition type, but sadly the information on 660ti isn't easy to verify, unless someone with that card can confirm. And it really matters depending on your exact model which we don't even know.

Hi man i forgot to write i bought an crossair with 600w and the graphics card still dosent work

The problem is that the fan on the graphics card starts then stops and so does tje wgole graphics card it tutns off i already tried to change psu but it wont help i really need help when i start the computer it obly shows my brand then it wont show more it just stays there

Check the type of partition you have. If it's MBR you might have to change it to GPT. I can't say I've had this issue for years now but at one point I had to change my partition type and I also did this when changing someone's Windows from 7 to 8. Generally the newer cards and systems prefer GPT. Or just reset your BIOS by taking out the battery, waiting 10 seconds at least and put it back in.

Hi man i tested these things and it still dosent work i dont know why its says that the graphics card only needs 450 w and i tried it with both 500w and 600w and it still dosent work
