I want to be able to look at my webcam when I'm away from home. How can I do that?
There's thousands of people already doing it, I think, aren't there? You can find places on the web where you can look in on live webcams set up by ordinary people (and some extraordinaries) can't we?
I think I had this capability some years ago on Yawcam but now I find Yawcam will not run on my Win10 setup. I don't know why.
And I don't remember how Yawcam did it.
And all the googling I do doesn't get me an answer.
Some pages direct me to software like Skype - e.g. must have it installed at both end. Don't want that.
Some pages direct to cloud based stuff. I don't think that was it.
Some pages direct to webcam software that when I get it and use it doesn't seem to have the capability at all.
I was thinking it was pretty straighforward and almost normal.
Anyone know how best to do it? How was it implemented in Yawcam back then?
