Will this motherboard support the rest of my parts?

If you want to burn down your house that a good combo to use. If you want something less likely to have issue get one of the few(usually very expensive and getting hard to find) motherboards that are suppose to support a 220w cpu.

Imho cut your losses, even with the proper motherboard those 9xxx series cpus are problematic and besides the expensive motherboard they also require big expensive coolers. Sell the 9590 and the DDR3(will likely get as much if not...

Sell the 9590 and the DDR3(will likely get as much if not more for the ram than you will the cpu) while someone may still be willing to buy one and upgrade to a newer platform like Ryzen.

FX 9590 is on the CPU Support List for the 970A-G/3.1.

Fan blowing on CPU and its surrounding components and robust liquid cooling system required. That would include using a 240mm or 280mm All-In-One liquid CPU cooler.

* For cooling the CPU and its surrounding components, please install a CPU cooler with a top-down blowing design.
◊ For cooling the CPU and its surrounding components, please install a decent liquid cooling system and additional air fan.

You can use a matched pair of 1866MHz memory. Your "16 gigs of ddr3 ram" is a vague description that means very little towards identifying the memory you are using.

Marketed as "a blend of performance and features for those looking to build a power house without breaking the bank", the motherboard is not one of the better ones but should be okay if run at normal speed.
