I replaced my old psu with a Thermaltake Smart 700w after it died silently. Now when I turn my computer on only the fan on the motherboard turns on and the fan in the case, the fans in my graphics card don't turn on and my HDD doesn't start. All I see on screen is "Error: No boot disk detected or the disk has failed" I'm 99% sure I plugged it in right and I've tried all the SATA cables it came with. The disk tray will still open with the SATA cables. I'm going to be borrowing some HDD's from a friend soon, should I worry that I ruined my HDD and GPU or is it most likely user error or the PSU?

As long as it is in fact connected propertly -- hard to tell from here -- the only way to really tell is to try your HDD in another PC or another HDD in yours. It could also be motherboard damage causing the hard drive to not be detected.
