Christmas is near and I'm thinking of gifting myself with a new PC upgrade!

What are my parts?

I omitted my PC peripherals since that's irrelevant.

✖ PC Parts:
◦ ASUS Z97 Sabertooth Mark S Motherboard
◦ Cooler Master Hyper 212X Processor Fan
◦ Cougar SL600 Power Supply Unit
◦ DeepCool RGB 350 LED Strips with Remote Control
◦ Fractal Design Define R5
◦ GALAX GTX 1080 EXOC-SNPR WHITE Graphics Processing Unit
◦ Intel i7-4790K 4.0 GHz Processor
◦ Kingston HyperX 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 1866MHz Memory (RAM)
◦ Samsung SSD 850 EVO Solid State Drive (500GB)
◦ SeaGate Barracuda 7200RPM Hard Disk Drive (500GB)
◦ WesternDigital Black 7200RPM Hard Disk Drive (6TB)

What are my choices?

In my eyes, I think I need to upgrade my PSU. Do note that my PC is all white so I'm looking at the Seasonic Snow Silent 750 right now. However, my temps have been in the 50° - 60° idle, is that normal? Should I water cool my CPU now? Or why not, get a 240hz monitor? Great. Too many choices.

Simply,
1. Upgrade my PSU to a Seasonic Snow Silent 750.
2. Upgrade my CPU cooler to a NZXT Kraken x62.
3. Buy a 240hz monitor.
4. Give me an idea!

What are my use? From most use to least use.

1. Student life.
2. Gaming + VR Gaming
3. Video editing and photo editing.
4. Streaming my games or activity.
5. Bitcoin mining.

THANK YOU!

Solution
then upgrade your PSU to a Seasonic Focus+ / Seasonic Prime Gold, quiet and one of the best units on the market

not neccessarily watercooling, but better cooling, yes

Do you have any issues with your current PSU?
Do you experience any thermal or acoustic limitations with your current CPU cooler?
Idle temps are irrelevant. Load temps are all that counts. My idle temps are generally around 40°C but if I play music over my speakers when f.e. I got company or when I'm working on something that needs my full attention and I need the pc to be silent, I turn down/off some fans and temperature naturally rises even in idle. So idle temps don't mean anything as they depend on the fan profile and the ambient temperature

What's your current screen?

My PSU is loud. Woo.

I'm satisfied with the acoustics of the CPU cooler. It reaches 80°C on full load. (Aida64)
But does overclocking my i7-4790K practical today? Which then leads to water cooling?

BenQ 24" RL2455HM right now!
