Possible dead ram from dead motherboard?

I recently took my motherboard and cpu in to find they are both dead. I have ordered replacements but what are the chances of my old ram been dead also? could the old ram damage the new motherboard?

the ram cannot damage a motherboard unless you force it into a slot it does not belong, then you only damage the slot. a motherboard can easily damage RAM depending on what caused the death of the CPU and motherboard the RAM and drives could have been damaged as well.
