can i combine/mix 2 different ram brands with same speed?

Solution
Can you? Yes.
Are they guaranteed to work? No.

This is why RAM is sold in "kits" (2x4GB etc) as those have been tested to work with each other. You can run into various compatibility issues, or sometimes they can just "work".

The best solution would be to sell what you have already, and buy a matching "kit"
Failing that, try to find an identical module (brand/model/timings/CL/speed)
If you can't do that, then at least try your best to match timings/CL/speed.

Again, no guarantees though.
