Thinking of Building A PC(First Timer)

Hello, I am thinking of building my own GAMING pc, as I am very interested by the idea of doing so. I have been watching many videos over the past couple of months on pc building and have decided to give it a go myself, but choosing the parts was a little daunting for me as I was afraid of choosing an incompatible item.

I have put together a list on pcpartpicker and I was wondering if this community could give me some feedback / suggestions on the parts I have chosen, and if they're good enough for a gaming pc on a budget below £1000, thank you

It's on the higher end of your budget but utilizes the i5-8400 6 core and GTX 1060 6gb while having a White/Black theme if aesthetics matter.

Edit: Changed the SSD so the OS can fit into the budget.

If you can hold off on the OS then you can put the GTX 1070 into the build.
