Hello,
I have bought a new PC recently. Here is the details:
MB: Gigabyte GA-B250M-D3H Motherboard
CPU: intel core i5 7400 - LGA1151 - kaby lake
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR4 RAM
GPU: Zotac GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition ZT-P10510B-10L 4GB
Logitech MK220 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse
HDD is my old Segate 1TB Sata
PSU: Cooler master 500wt
Cooler master cabinet.
OS: Windows 10

I connected the rig to my new Sony X900E 65" 4K TV with HDMI cable through the Nvidia Graphic card HDMI Port. On TV Display input shows 3840 x 2160 (60hz). My problem is Keyboard and mouse going to inactive mode and act sluggish while watching movies. After some struggle they come to active mode but with sluggishness. It happens most while watching movies. And another problem is some 4K content (big files Ex. 55 gb, 100gb) are not playing smoothly in VLC, Pot players. But they run in KODI player smoothly. I am using Amazon basics HDMI cables.

To resolve mouse and keyboard prob, I updated all drives with latest versions, tried with all MB usb ports (3.0, 2.0) but still facing the issue (mainly it happens while movies playing).

So, please let me know what do I need to correct/change to resolve the mouse&keyboard problem and 4K smooth running. I do not play any games, I do like watch movies only. So, I want to play 4K movies smoothly.

So, pl let me know, where did I go wrong? do I need to change the HDMI cables? or Is the system configuration is not enough, is it struggle to play 4K movies so that I am facing the mouse, keyboard issue. Before buy I came to know the system config. was more enough to play/stream 4K content so that I went to the same config. If I connect PC to TV with Graphic card Display port, then, can I get any better performance than HDMI connection? Please give me a solution that how can I avoid the keyboard & mouse prob and how can I get 4K smooth play. Thank you.

Solution
If you updated the motherboard USB drivers and the driver for the Keyboard and Mouse from Logitech I would just change the mouse keyboard batteries.

Are you streaming movies on a WiFi access point?
