Solution
Intel did this, ask them !!! :)
Just unfortunate Z370 is not backward compatible: https://www.kitguru.net/channel/generaltech/damien-cox/kaby-lake-processors-are-incompatible-with-the-intel-z370/
1. Z370 does not support kaby lake, only coffee lake
2. so so quality psu, get CX550M
3. no need for nvme ssd, not worth the money, regular ssd is good enough
4. some components have cheaper alternatives.
5. GTX 1070 will not utilize that 4k monitor fully as you will need 1080ti to do 4k gaming.

"1. Z370 does not support kaby lake, only coffee lake"

OH GREAT!! The CPU has been installed already but I haven't powered it up yet. NOW WHAT!!??

2. so so quality psu, get CX550M"

It is what it is & it'll work

3. no need for nvme ssd, not worth the money, regular ssd is good enough

Again...It is what it is & it'll work. I've already returned 2 SK hynix SL308 2.5" 120GB SATA III TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) HFS120G32TND-N1A2A. I was going to put them in raid 0 based on advise from someone I THOUGHT knew what they were doing!! That same person ALSO said Kaby lake would be no difference. UGH!!!! ##$%$*^

4. some components have cheaper alternatives.

OH well to late NOW!

5. GTX 1070 will not utilize that 4k monitor fully as you will need 1080ti to do 4k gaming."

That's not entirely true. While ultra settings may not be an option 4k will still look better so I went with it. See the following links.

So as we see in THIS VIDEO ( https://youtu.be/-BzoTweBPtM ) you're right. FPS would be under 60 at max settings but I'm willing to settle for lower settings & higher resolution.

So my main concern is #1 the wrong CPU!!
What do I need to do about that & what happens if I decide to power it up?? I won't but if I did what would happen??
