I have two adsl2+ routers which has inbuilt modem and Wi-Fi.
But one router from tplink has bandwidth control which is important feature for me but poor at range and drops connection for 60meter LAN connection and one from D-link has good range and do not drop the connection at all but get congested after some time and gives low speeds.
So I want to setup tplink as modem and d link as router.

What are my options and how to set them both ?

Thanks..

If you use the tplink as a modem it will just do that...ie translate dsl to ethernet...it will have no other function.

I would instead use the tplink as the router and turn off the wifi in it. You can then use the other router as a AP. In effect you replace the wifi radios in the first router with the second.

Unless your second router have a ethenet WAN port you can not connect it to a modem so it does you no good to convert the tplink into a modem.

If neither has a modem only mode you will run into trouble. The routers primary function is to NAT connections from your internal network to that of the ISP, ignore the wifi element for a moment. If they both remain routers you will NAT the connection twice, which is a whole world of pain. If you set up the dlink as a wireless access point it is no longer routing and the TPlink will have to perform that function. Bandwidth controls etc will only function if the device is in router mode, not AP mode. Unfortunately it may be better just to purchase a decent modern wifi router and uncomplicate the situation. Some Netgear domestic routers had a hidden html config page where you could indeed turn it into just an ADSL modem, make the connection and pass it straight through to a router. I haven't seen this on other brands.
