What router should I get with 100mbps internet?

So me and my 2 roommates just got 100 mbps internet. We are all using Wi-Fi to connect to it. I was wondering what wireless router we should get? My roommate wants to get https://www.amazon.ca/TP-Link-Tri-Band-Beamforming-Archer-C3200/dp/B00YY3XSSA/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1510205128&sr=8-4&keywords=router.

Isn't this router overkill since we have only 100mbps internet? If so, what router would you guys suggest?

The "features" on that router probably won't significantly improve your WIFI. It won't hurt, but it won't probably improve anything more than an Netgear R7000 or an Asus AC68U, both AC1900 class routers.
The best thing you can do is use 5Ghz for as many devices as possible. If you are somewhere with a lot of WIFI competition then 2.4Ghz may not provide good performance.
