Weird sound related bugs

Hi, guys.

I have been experiencing some weird sound bugs (that's the best explanation I can give) lately. I am going to name few, tho they might be or might not be connected to each other, but they started to appear roughly at the same time.

- YouTube video and sound not synchronized - there is some kind of slight delay when I can see that speech is already started and I receive the sound like 0.3 seconds late or so;

- Crackling/popping sound in CS:GO - it's a very slight noise, but it is definitely there;

- VERY weird background ambiance music in TES IV, where I can literally hear the 2-3-4 layers of music not coresponding with each other. Both games are in Steam, but I don't think the games or Steam itself are causing the problem;

- And last, but not least - the Volume icon in the lower right corner (Win10 64bit), makes no sound when I increase or decrease the volume. Before it would make a sound example of how loud the new volume level is and now it's completely silent, even tho it does work.
Yesterday I updated the audio drivers and it seemed fine, but today the problem is back again.
Another thing is that I recently plugged the USB hub cable that came with my monitor (Dell U2515H) in order to be able to use the hub. I can't see how this is going to make any difference, therefore I haven't tried removing it, but I can do it if you think this might be it.
And another thing is that I added new case fan (Noctua NF-A14 PWM), but there is no way this would cause the problem imo.
Any solutions would be appreciated.

I would start with performing a clean install of the latest sound drivers. I'd then try a different sound card(if possible), otherwise install Ubuntu to a flash drive and boot up to that. Then see if it still has sound issues that way. If it does, then it's hardware... If not, then it's software related and would require further troubleshooting.

The fun part is that it hasn't happen since I posted the thread.. I scanned all files and reinstalled the audio and usb drivers and the problems seems to be gone, but I somehow know it's not, since this is the second time I did that and after the first time it re-appeared again.
The volume icon stays the same. It changes the volume level correctly, but when I move it, it doesn't make any sound. Can you, please, do this on your PC if you can and if you use Win10 and tell me the result. Just click on the Volume icon and then click somewhere on the slider. Before it would make a sound, and now it's silent. It MIGHT be some change after Win update.. don't know.
As for the suggested solutions - I did the first thing, the second one is not possible, and the third is going to be my last resort.
BTW my mobo is Asus Z170-A, which is loved and hated by many. I wouldn't be very suprised if it's starting to fail.

It is supposed to make a noise. Make sure you have the correct audio device set as default in Sound settings(control panel) and just in case, "right-click, properties" on the device. Under "Enhancements", select "Disable all enhancements".

I did what you said after I created the thread. The primary audio device are cheap Trust speakers Remo 2.0. And I did disable the audio enhancements. I am just waiting to fail again and then will probably try this Ubuntu test. I do have some Dell device(from my monitor), but it is not set as primary so I guess it's fine.
Btw it was the same with headphones, connected to the front panel.
I will give update as soon as I find anything more specific, because at this point it's hard to help, since the problem is so general.

Update.
The problem keeps on appearing and disappearing...
Emptying Bin makes no sound, even if the sound is enabled. Same goes for the foremetioned Volume Icon, and when page searching word that is not present. All these 3 sound feedbacks seems to be gone for some odd reason.

Update.
Sorry for the late update, been busy, but here is what it is now. I have tried all sorts of things and eventually ended up with a clean install of Win10Pro with formatting and $hit and while the audio feedback of the volume icon is back(YEY), the popping is still present. Someone in other thread said increasing PCH Voltage abit solves the problem, but it didn' t work for me. I am going to try with outdated Realtek audio drivers to see if its any different and try new speakers(not that it would make any sense, since I hear this popping even from the headphones). Also YouTube still gets out of sync video-audio from time to time and even if it's like parts of the second I can see it and it's very annoying.
