Hi, my little brother was using my computer and his foot hit the powerstrip button that my computer and monitor are plugged into. He quickly turned it back on and the computer no longer turns on. I unplugged EVERY external power related cable and plugged them back in, to the same and then different power outlets. My monitor still works, and any other devices plugged in to the strip work. The power button on the front of the computer does nothing, no matter how long I hold it down. It’s a custom built computer and I’m fairly comfortable messing around with the inside, so I will take and use ANY advice that any of you can give me. Nothing on the inside of the computer was messed with, so I VERY highly doubt it’s anything in there, but always open to that possibility. I know there’s a way to boot with a screwdriver by shorting the power pins to test the boot, but I don’t know if that’s a good idea. So again, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
