Hey everyone.
Long story short; I was having connectivity problems with my wifi signal. It was picking up very weak signals; I was barely able to load YouTube videos on the lowest quality, and my ping in games would average around 300-600, and even spiked up til 3,000+. Everybody else's wifi in the house (same channel) works perfectly.
This led me to believe the issue was my wireless card in my pc. I replaced my TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 Wireless 450Mbps with the TP-LINK Archer T6E AC1300. Unfortunately, the problems still persisted and my connectivity problems persisted. Unfortunately I can't cable my PC directly into the ethernet as the modem is on a different floor.
It isn't the location (e.g. my bedroom), because my phone and laptop's internet work perfectly fine.
Apologies for the mess of the story, I just really don't know what else the issue could be past this point?
Thank you for any possible suggestions,
lauren
