Gigabyte GTX 1070 TI vs Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming rev. 2

So, I'm deciding between those 2 graphic cards:
1) Gigabyte GTX 1070 TI
2) Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming rev. 2

They are priced about the same.
Is the TI better/faster then the 1070G1 version, although the G1 has higher cloc speeds...?

You get access to more CUDA cores as you go up, the only slight wrinkle is that all 1070 TIs are shipping with the same base/boost clock rates (meaning you'd have to manually adjust more to get the same headroom as aftermarket cards automatically provide for the other two).

So I'd say if they're all similar price at this point, don't go for the regular 1070. 1070 Ti and 1080 are very very close, but for me it would probably worth it to get the 1080 and get the benefit of higher base clocks from an aftermarket board (and slightly more CUDA cores), as well as a bit faster memory. I don't understand what You mean by that...? 1080 is more expensive than 1070Ti. But we're talking about neglectable price difference here (10-20€ doesn't mean much when we're talking about GPUs which cost arround 560€).

It's hard for me to say exactly though without knowing the current EU prices better.

Sorry, got carried away talking about the Founder's Editions. Just get the 1070 Ti, then. Spend the extra $50 (USD)
