So currently having a problem with my internet connectivity on my pc that I have been unable to solve. My browser seems unable to get a secure connection; some times it has a long hang up with performing a tls handshake but eventually gets through, other times I get 'secure connection failed'. This is to common websites like bbc, facebook etc.
I've checked with other browsers and I have the same problem, I've disabled my antivirus software, I've run browsers in safe mode with no add-ons, I've followed advice given to people with similar problems with no luck.
However, reinstalling my network drivers occasionally stops the problem for a while but some times it does nothing and it always come back. The real kicker is that I have no problems on a different connection (i.e. using my phone's data allowance as a hotspot) and no other computer or mobile device has any problem on the connection at all. I've run out of ideas and I was hoping someone might have some suggestions.
