So i had somekind of a videicard, that had a dsub port and my monitor also has a dsub port, i ordered a gtx 1050 graphics card with a dvi i adapter, but i didnt research enough, and today when the graphics card arrieved i understood, that it has a dvi d port. Can i put both videocards and plug my monitor in the old one? Will i get the same performance as i had or will it be better?

Solution
Using your monitor with the old card will do nothing for your speed, it will still be running on your old card. Replace the monitor with one you can use on the new card, a decent new one with a DVI port should be about $100, you can get a used one for $50 or so, or less. Staples and other box stores actually get good monitor deals at times, look into those. Your card should have HDMI on it, this will be OK, on sale and good image quality https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824025099
There is absolutely no effect if you put those 2 cards together - only one will work, that which will be connected to monitor. The other will just eat power and do nothing. So you either have to get active adapter and connect it to 1050, or get a new monitor that has DVI (any kind) or HDMI input., if you want to use your new GPU.
