Hi everyone! My external hard drive is a WD 2TB My Passport. My husband dropped it onto a hard floor from a shelf. It is still recognized and I can see the files on it, but if I try to open a folder on it, it is incredibly slow. I tried to drag a file onto my desktop and it is too slow to respond to download a file. Is there something I can try to get the files off it? Most are large files as this is where I store home movies so they are anywhere from 700MB to 7GB. I have unplugged the Hard Drive now until I get a response. Thank you in advance!
