Install windows to hard-drive inside internal dock?

Yes, you are correct. Not being familiar with that particular device in which you're interested I hadn't realized it was designed as an internally-connected "docking station". When we use that term here in the States it invariably refers to an USB externally-connected device (enclosure).

I was actually thinking of one of those in the first place before I found the one I mentioned.
The thing is that (to my knowledge) windows doesn't install to USB devices, therefor I won't be able to install
windows on a hard-drive that is connected to the desktop using an external USB docking station.

The one I mentioned however should use an internal SATA connection and therefor the desktop should recognize the hard drive that is inserted as an internal drive.

We've installed hundreds of these mobile racks over the years. There are many other models to choose from as well; many are designed to be installed in a 3.5" external bay. If you're interested in these mobile racks I can provide more detailed information about them should you desire.
