Solution P P Paul F Nov 21, 2017 If it states version 2 you need version 2. Thanks for the advise however I took the chance and it worked out perfectly! From what I've been reading just about ANY board with a compatible socket will run the Xeon E5's, the board I used happened to be an Asus Sabertooth.
